This year will be my 12th year in education and my 5th year at Coosa Middle. Prior to Coosa Middle, I spent 6 years as a middle grades math/ELA teacher at Pepperell Middle and 1 year as an and middle grades math/ELA teacher at Mt. Zion Middle. I am excited for another great year at the best school!
I am married to my wife, Ashleigh, who works as a Special Education teacher at Pepperell Primary School. We love to travel and spend time with our family, friends, and 3 dogs!

BIOGRAPHY:
I am beginning my 35th year as an educator. I retired from the Cherokee County School System in Cherokee County, Alabama in 2016 after a 26-year career as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and central office supervisor. I am beginning my 9th year at Coosa Middle School where I have been fortunate to serve as a math teacher, coach, interventionist, and assistant principal. I am married to my best friend, Yolanda, who is a social services director at a long term care facility in Piedmont, Alabama. We have one son, Logan, who is married to his best friend, Kaylee. Logan is a Bama graduate and practicing SLP in Jacksonville, Florida. We also have one pet dog, Shiloh (Yorkie), who runs the household. We enjoy hanging out at home and watching Gunsmoke, Hallmark Christmas movies, The Andy Griffith Show, and Crimson Tide football. ROLL TIDE!! We also love vacationing at the beach! I have had an amazing career so far and look forward to extending it with another amazing year at CMS!!! Go Eagles!!!
